Current CVIdeal storage

CVIdeal remembers the cookie notice decision with the localStorage key cvideal_cookie_preferences. The stored structure records whether preferences were accepted, rejected, or configured and includes the save date. This key is shared across Spanish and English pages on the same site.

Necessary and preference choices

Necessary storage allows the site to remember the notice decision and support basic functions. Preference storage can remember simple settings. Rejecting optional preferences does not prevent access to the primary site tools.

Resume drafts

The resume builder uses separate localStorage keys for English and Spanish drafts. Clearing all site data may remove both cookie preferences and locally saved resume progress.

Analytics, advertising, and external services

CVIdeal loads the global Google AdSense script on every page to verify the site and enable advertising services configured in the account. Depending on the region, configuration, and applicable consent, Google may use cookies or similar technologies and process technical data to deliver and measure ads, personalize advertising content, and prevent fraud. Formspree is contacted only when a user submits the contact form.

The choices in CVIdeal’s own notice manage the local preferences described on this page and do not replace any applicable Google advertising consent mechanism. Information about how Google uses data from partner sites is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Manage preferences

Use the cookie notice to accept, reject, or configure preferences. To make the notice appear again, remove CVIdeal site data through browser privacy settings.

Browser controls

Most browsers allow users to block or delete cookies and local storage. Removing site data can also remove saved preferences and tool progress.
