Editorial transparency

Editorial policy

This page explains how CVIdeal organizes and reviews its employment content and how readers can report errors or request corrections.

Purpose

CVIdeal publishes general information that helps users prepare resumes, cover letters, professional wording, interviews, and related job search materials. Each user remains responsible for adapting the information to a specific role and real background.

Topic selection

Priority is given to practical questions: what to include, how to organize experience, how to write clearly, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to prepare for interviews. Technical subjects such as ATS readability are presented carefully because hiring systems and employer processes vary.

Research and sources

Guides combine original explanations, adaptable examples, and practical editing criteria. When an article relies on a specific external reference, that source should appear visibly on the page. A source is not an endorsement or a substitute for the user’s review.

Writing standards

Content should be clear, direct, and actionable. Examples are starting points, not text to copy without verifying and adapting every claim. US English pages use common American resume and cover letter terminology.

Internal review

Content is reviewed internally for clarity, basic accuracy, spelling, core links, and consistency with the site’s limitations. CVIdeal does not claim review by external recruiters, attorneys, human resources professionals, or other specialists unless a specific page provides public, verifiable information.

Updates

Publication dates indicate initial publication. Updated dates should appear only after substantive revisions, such as meaningful expansion, important correction, change in guidance, or improvement of factual context. Dates should not change solely to make content appear recent.

Corrections

Report an error, unclear statement, broken link, or privacy concern through the contact page. Include the URL and enough context to review the issue. CVIdeal may correct, clarify, update, or remove material when appropriate.

Editing and automation tools

CVIdeal may use editing, technical review, or automation tools to organize drafts, detect issues, or improve presentation. These tools do not replace internal review and do not turn the content into individualized professional advice.

Editorial independence

Guides and tools are currently presented for informational purposes. If advertising, affiliate relationships, or commercial collaborations are added in the future, they should be distinguished from editorial content and disclosed appropriately.

Limitations

CVIdeal does not guarantee employment, interviews, selection, compensation, or compatibility with every ATS. Hiring decisions depend on employers, job requirements, experience, assessments, interviews, and other external factors.

Editorial contact

The contact form is the public channel for corrections, editorial questions, and privacy concerns. No additional public email address is declared.
